Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] ("we") for your use of salesman. By creating an account you accept them. If you use salesman for a company, you accept them on its behalf.

The service

salesman lets a workspace keep a list of contacts, find their social handles, and write, schedule and publish posts to the social networks it connects. Features, limits and supported networks may change over time.

Your account and workspace

• Keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Workspace owners decide who joins their workspace and are responsible for what its members publish.
• You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live, and at least 16.

Your content

You own the posts, images and contacts you put into salesman. You give us permission to store, process and send them to the networks you choose, only as needed to run the service. You confirm you have the rights to what you publish.

Connected networks

When you connect a social account, you authorise us to act on it as you direct, mainly to publish your scheduled posts. Each network's own terms still apply to what you post there, and a network can change or withdraw its API at any time. We are not responsible for a network's decisions, outages or removal of your content.

Acceptable use

Don't use salesman to:

• send spam, or automate posting in ways a network forbids;
• harass people, or post anything illegal, infringing or deceptive;
• build profiles of people for surveillance, or resell contact data;
• break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or get around its limits.

We may suspend a workspace that breaks these rules.

AI features

Suggestions such as shortened posts and contact lookups are generated automatically and can be wrong. Review them before you publish. Unconfirmed handles are never tagged until you confirm them.

Plans and payment

Paid plans renew automatically each month or year until you cancel, and cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. Usage-based charges, such as posts to X, are billed as described on the pricing page. We will tell you before prices change, and fees are non-refundable except where the law says otherwise.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time. We may end or suspend the service for you if you break these terms, with notice where we reasonably can. Export anything you want to keep before an account is closed: after that we delete its data as our Privacy Policy describes.

Indemnity

You will cover us against claims that arise from your content, the contact details you keep, or your breach of these terms.

Disclaimers and liability

salesman is provided "as is". We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or that every post will publish, since that depends on the networks too. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

General
